By booking this facility you are accepting these terms of booking and disclaimer so you will not have to sign one on arrival
The person making the booking is responsible for informing all the riders included in the booking of these terms as well as guaranteeing that all riders are competent to use the facilities
Payment online and booking conformation are required before arrival
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
All horse riders must be accompanied by a person on the ground
All trailers and lorries to remain in the carpark and overflow grass parking, horses only to proceed down to the course
Please be aware that there is a public foot path running through both cross country areas, jumps have been placed to avoid risk but please look out for walkers and dogs
Please do not enter any fields that are not included in the cross country schooling area. Out of bounds areas will be marked and be behind closed gates. Please refer to map.
Only jump fences within you own/horse’s ability and fitness levels and please consider ground conditions
Do not muck out lorry/trailer in parking area
Hats and body protectors to current British Eventing standards are compulsory
Please report any damage to any jumps so these can be made safe for other riders
There will be times when part of the course will be closed for maintenance which you may not be aware of when you make your booking
If we need to cancel your booking for any reasons, we will organise a refund or rearrange your booking when we contact you
Instructors or any person responsible for a rider must have a public liability insurance policy with an indemnity to principal extension
It is recommended that riders have personal accident cover
Any person responsible for a horse using the facilities should have third party liability cover for that horse
Horses must have up to date flu vaccinations
Hough Park Equestrian staff are not responsible for providing first aid or first aid equipment, however, there is a first aid kit in the entrance area as well as contact details/what3word details in the event of an emergency
Please close the main carpark gate and gate into the xc field behind you

Please keep dogs on the lead at all times

I understand that horse riding, especially cross country, is a risk sport and accept the inherent risks involved, including injury to horse and rider.
Neither the Owners, nor any agent, employee or representative of the Owners will be responsible or liable for any accident, loss, claim, demand, action, proceeding, damage, cost, expense, injury or illness suffered by or to yourself, your horse, your possessions, your vehicle and their contents and accessories, or to any other person or property whatsoever.
The Owner’s shall not be liable for any accident, loss, claim, demand, action, proceeding, damage, cost, expense, injury or illness caused by reasons beyond its control.
The owner’s liability in any event shall not exceed the amount paid.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Owner’s do not exclude liability for death or personal injury arising from their own negligence.
